Great Posts! And a few reminders

Here are some highlights of my weekly blog reading, across classes.  Kudos to the authors.  For those of you in need of inspiration, go check out some of these:

A few reminders:

- Last semester, we talked about how reading responses should be mainly focused on your thoughts and ideas, not on the plot of the book.  You may need to give a couple of sentences summary, but no more than 25% of your response should be devoted to that.  Responses that do not go beyond plot summary will only receive partial credit.  One thing you could do instead of summarizing your book at length is to give a link to a description of the book, so interested readers could easily access it.

- Add your reading details (title, author, date, amount of time, number of pages) to the end of your reading response post.

- One comment per blog post.  If a post has been commented on already (by someone other than me), find another one to comment on.  If you still want to comment on a post that already has one because you just have something to say about it, go ahead, but only the first comment on each post will receive credit.

- Please comment only on blogs from your section, again, if you want to receive credit.  (If you just have something to say and don't care about getting credit for comments, go ahead and comment).

- Finally, book titles are italicized.  Short stories, poems, and articles go in quotation marks.  At this point in the year, I should not be seeing book titles formatted with quotation marks.
