Post 1: Chapter seven highlights how different the expectations are for Tambu at the mission and at the homestead. The differences in these social settings are related in part to Tambu's identities as educated niece/daughter/beneficiary of Babamukuru and rural, poor Shona girl.
Consider how different places and identities in your life create different expectations for how you will act and who you will be. You might think about home(s), school (including different classes), church, activities you participate in, social circles, or virtual, online environments. Explain at least two of these places and/or identities and the different expectations they create.
