Just post your reading details. What should you be reading? Lord of the Flies. We will have finished chapter 10 by the end of this week and revise our papers. Make life easier for yourself by reading ahead!
Also, take this weekend to make sure you are caught up on our ongoing assignments - your reading focus table for LOTF, your annotations, your blog comment log. These things will all seem to be due at the same time as the semester ends, but they should not take a lot of extra time because you've been working on them all along. Annotating and following your reading focus is part of each LOTF reading assignment; updating your comment log is part of each commenting assignment.

Blog Posts for 11/26
Reading Details: Document 150 minutes of reading, including time you spent reading Lord of the Flies, between November 12 and November 26.
Post 1: As we get closer to the midterm, think back over the major units of our study so far: summer reading, literacy narratives (+ traits of writing, writing process), short stories + literary elements, literary analysis, and Lord of the Flies. What do you understand well, what do you need to review more in your notes, and what do you need to ask questions about or would like to review as a class? Be specific.
Post 2: At this point, you should have your reading focus tracked at least through chapter 4, hopefully through chapter 5. (if you don't, let this serve as a reminder...) Give the class an update on what you have noticed. How has your focus appeared so far, and how has it changed or shifted over the course of these chapters? Be specific.

Blog posts for 11/12
Post 1: Your observations and predictions based on our plane crash activity in class. What were your group's strengths and weaknesses in terms of survival? Leadership? Harmony? If you were really in this situation for an undetermined amount of time, what do you think would happen to your group based on the experience in class?
